There is a place in Turkey, in the region of central Anatolia, where time seems to stand still and where almost everything seems to take the form of a fable: the Cappadocia.
A set of canyons, caves, cave houses and "fairy chimneys". A place that seems to be hidden and almost intact compared to the known circuits Turks, as now known destination to many.
A landscape created thanks to the hand of nature and the ingenuity of man.
Some years have passed since my trip to this land but the memory is still vivid. 

And after after hour drive and hundreds of miles of wilderness almost repetitive leads over a tuff promontory, quiet and unpopulated.
It looks like a place independent of the world, where nature decides alone its forms. Soft, colorful, enveloping.

Tip: try to climb to the top at sunset. Leave your car in the square of the village, at the foot of the promontory, and within minutes you reach the castle. It is worth paying the few Turkish lira planned to get up here (there are several steps to do and for small children is not exactly the best).
